Home at last from a super National Specialty weekend in Colorado!

We met several new friends and caught up with many old friend. We won some top awards, with many beautiful Aussie represented including one puppy with her natural tail Dunham Lake Arista Magic Cheers for You! "Karla" MBIS GCH Dunham Lake Scoutmaster "Select", GCH Dunham Lake Touched by an Angel "Gabby" two days "Select" and GCH Dunham Lake Unanimous Decision, made the first cut two of the three days.

I want to thank my daughters Lydia and Ellie for showing our dogs and their continued hard work and dedication as my partners in breeding quality Australian Terriers for past 8 years. Thank you to my husband for supporting our hobby financially and for taking great care of our dogs and other animals that stayed home. Without him, we would not be able to do these trips. I also want to thank the Steinmetz family for campaigning MBIS GCH Dunham Lake Scoutmaster #1 Australian Terrier in America (All-Breed) and their daughter Jackie for showing him.

I thank my many many friends and families, some have puppies from us, some do not, that came out to the show to participate in and or just show their support for Dunham Lake Aussies, you are all amazing! A special thanks to Katrina and David for hosting a DL party and for Cindy for her amazing Aussie cupcakes! We are truly blessed with great families and friends in the breed.

Thank you to the judges for evaluating our dogs and recognizing their quality. By next year our natural tailed puppies will be more mature and more competitive. Last but not least, thank you to those responsible for putting on such a wonderful show. I know a lot of work goes into such events. Well done.

Congratulations to all the exhibitors! I saw many Aussies presented that didn't win a placement, but were in my eyes, gorgeous.

See you next year in Tennessee!
